Women of the World 2024

The Women of the World (WOW) Nepal 2024 Festival, held on November 23-24, 2024, in Kathmandu, was organized by the British Council and hosted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC). The festival celebrated the achievements of women, girls, and non-binary individuals, featuring panel discussions, performances, workshops, and a marketplace with over 35 women-led businesses. Vision, the event’s visionary partner, executed the festival with meticulous attention to inclusion and accessibility, offering services such as sign language interpretation, simultaneous translation, and wheelchair access. The venue was equipped with professional staging, lighting, and support infrastructure, while the event’s visibility was amplified through digital marketing. A dedicated team ensured smooth operations, marking the festival as a major step forward in Nepal’s gender equality journey.
